In my first career as a children's librarian in a public library, I got to

•           read stories to children during storytime
•           help kids with homework
•           choose new books for the library to buy

NOW, as a writer I can 

•           make up stories
•           read whenever I want to
•           choose any book I want to buy for myself or my grandkids
•           and work in my pajamas (really!)
